President Ram Nath Kovind flags-off fitness run at Rashtrapati Bhavan as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

To inspire and encourage the citizens of India and to instill the importance of fitness and health consciousness, a fitness run was organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, March 6th, 2022.
The event was graced by the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind, along with First Lady Smt. Savita Kovind. A five-kilometre run was organized in the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan which concluded at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Sports Complex.
Several other senior government officials and staff members from the President’s Secretariat participated in the fitness run as well. Under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, this event holds significant importance as it attempts to bring about fitness-related transformation in our citizens—a significant step for the Amrit Kaal - India@100.
