On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Bihar Vidhan Sabha celebrated its 100 Years "Satabdi Samaroh". The program was initiated at 10:00 am by the Hon'ble President of India Shri Ramnath Kevind ji with establishing the foundation stone of the Satabdi Memorial Pillar in the Bihar Legislative Assembly Complex. He has also planted saplings of the holy Bodhi tree on the campus and addressed the sabha on "Discussion in the House is the core of Parliamentary system".
In order to make this historic occasion pleasant, glorious and memorable, Governor of Bihar, Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Honorable Speaker Bihar Legislative Assembly, MPs/former MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha of Bihar and Honorable members/former members of Bihar Legislature participated in the program.
In honour of the President of India, a cultural program is being organized by the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth, Bihar, Patna at the residence of Honorable Speaker Bihar Legislative Assembly at 2-Deshratna Marg from 6:30 pm today.
The cultural program reflecting the diversity of Bihar Culture was presented by the artists of Bihar namely singing of Shri Vipin Mishra Ji, Shri Jitendra Kumar Shri Prashant and Shri Nishant Mallick, Dr. Swati Sinha, Shri Satendra Singha, Shri Arjun Kumar Choudhary.
It included Sankh naad, Bihar Gaurav Gaan, Dhrupat singing, Kathak dance, Rhythm of Bihar, etc. The program concluded with the music of Mrs. Sharda Sinha.
