On 19th October 2021 Hon'ble Minister of Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh 'Babu Ji inaugurated the Khadi Mela cum Exhibition in Siwan. Organized by the Industries Department, this fair and exhibition will continue till October 28.
The objective of organising this fair on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav @75 is to promote Khadi and traditional industries of the state and use Swadeshi products in their life. Many more such fairs and exhibitions will be organised in the state. This would not only support weavers of Bihar to generate livelihood but also create a larger platform for spreading traditional Industries.
