In connection with the historic celebration of 75 th year of Independence of nation and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Veeron Ko Naman Program was conducted at Balhama Cantonment under Meri Mati Mera Desh. The event was hosted by Block Khanmoh where the chief guest was: Commanding Officer- CRPF Battalion at Balhama. In addition to BDO, the DDC Member from Balhama , Panchayati Raj Institutions and the local residents also participated in the event. During the sidelines of the event , the chief guest was cordially welcomed by the BDO and the DDC member concerned and therefore delivered welcome address. After the welcome address by the BDO, the worthy chief guest was invited on the stage to speak on the occasion . In his address , he mentioned the importance of Meri Mati , Mera Desh. He said that when our nation is touching the heights in the development process and onset on the Moon itself, the contribution of our great heroes needs to be acknowledged. He added that Indian Army and other Paramilitary forces have a high morale in present era and this needs to be supported by every citizen in letter and spirit. The event concluded with the vote of thanks for the chief guest and further National Anthem ceremony. About more than 46 people participated in the event
