With regards to the Government of India’s initiative on Buddhist Linkages, a prayer was arranged in Embassy premises by Monks on 12 April 2021 to embark upon India@75 celebrations.
To celebrate Vesak and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s 130th Birth Anniversary, Embassy, in coordination with the Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University, Phnom Penh, organized a webinar discussion on 25 April 2021 on Buddhism in Cambodia and Southeast Asia and Dr Ambedkar’s vision of a Buddhist Renaissance.
Webinar was organized on 20 April 2021 with Cambodian Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, to propagate information on various scholarships offered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to Cambodian nationals for 2021-2022.
