132 kV Mokokchung GIS is dedicated to the nation on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day by Sh R. Nungshilepden Tatar, Chairman of Village Council, Ungma, Mokokchung, Nagaland.
GIS Substation occupies less space compared to Air Insulated Substations (AIS) Substation, More reliable compared to AIS, a number of outages due to the fault is less and maintenance free.
This Substation will increase the reliability & quality of power in Nagaland and other neighboring states of NER.
