The National Girl Child Day is celebrated throughout the country every year on January 24 in order to encourage people’s knowledge as well as awareness about the rights of the girl child. In order to commemorate the same day, Investor Education & Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) in association with Common Service Centre (CSC) e-Governance Services India Limited organized a Webinar on National Girl Child Day on January 24, 2022, at 11 am via Facebook Live. Further, the webinar was run in more than 1.5 lakh centers throughout the nation. Among the key speakers included Ms. Sunrita Chaudhuri, Assistant Professor, School of Management GD Goenka University, Ms. Molina Gurjar, Assistant General Manager, Saraswat Bank, and Ms. Amita Abichandani, Associate Director, CRISIL Foundation, who shared their valuable thoughts with the attendees. The officials at the webinar consisted of Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi (MD, CSC SPV), Mr. Sumit Agarwal (AGM, IEPFA, Ministry of Corporate Affairs), and Mr. Rishikesh Patankar (COO, Education, and CSC Academy).
