On the occasion of National Tourism Day, 25 January 2022, the Consulate General of India Toronto in association with the India Tourism New York office organized Discover India Series with an objective to enhance awareness about India’s rich cultural heritage and vivid landscapes of Incredible India to Canadian Tour operators.
Themed as “Yoga and Wellness”, the inaugural program witnessed the participation of 30 Canadian Tour Operators. It began with an address from Ms. Apoorva Srivastava, Consul General followed by presentations from Sri. Krishna Teja, the Director at Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, Ms. Manini Sen, Asst. Vice President Revenue from “Ananda in the Himalayas”, Ms. Sushmita Sarangi, Jiva, the Spa of Taj Hotels who delivered presentations about India’s unique offering in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Wellness.
