Chedalandakondla Bheema Reddy organized an armed group of Rampa Reddies in Andhra Pradesh. Rampa Reddies attacked a Forest Ranger post in defiance of the oppressive forest laws. Along with Karam Tamman Dora, Ambel Reddy, and other leaders, he attacked British forces at several places. Guerrilla wars were fought in regions between the Golconda hills of Visakhapatnam and Bhadrachalam taluk. Many including Chedalandakondla Bheema Reddy died on the battlefield and many were hanged.
